The Langsdom AirWare Pro Open Ear Running Headphones are so lightweight and comfortable, I sometimes forget I'm even wearing them. The sound quality is great, and the sleek design doesn't make me look like I'm from another planet—which is a plus! ?? They also feel very durable and the built-in MP3 mode is a cool bonus.
The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is the battery life—it's good, but not quite what I expected. Still, overall this is a great product and almost perfect. Would definitely recommend!
I've owned my fair share of earbuds and headphones in my time, and these are a pleasant surprise. First the good. These feel well made, last a long time, stay on your head well enough to casually jog, have a long battery life, and are easy to set up and pair. This is only the second set of over-the-ear style buds I've used. The first being on VR headset where the sound quality was not great and didn't leave me sold on the technology. But these are much better. By design, the sound quality will never be as good as true in-ear style. But they are surprisingly close, and it's nice to hear other major outside sounds so that when you are outside you can maintain some level of awareness.
The only bad things I have to say are very small. I don't care for the color at all (kind of like pea soup if you see it in person). Plus the battery level doesn't show up on my iPhone. My phone reports the battery level, yet that level simply doesn't ever go down, so I have to be aware of keeping it charged.
Still, this is great for the price and works well for exercising.
Although these look exactly like the popular bone conduction headsets these are open ear so sit slightly in your ear and not in your cheekbone. I actually like that more as they are very lightweight and comfortable.
The sound quality is good and they were secure on my run this morning with zero bounce or adjusting necessary. Did not drop the connection at all. More importantly when running out on the roads I was able
To hear my surroundings as well as the music.
Will probably never use the built in MP3 but it's a nice feature if you don't have music on your watch/phone or don't want to take those with you.
Lightweight, very comfortable (I have sensory issues that make in-ear headphones uncomfortable for me).
I love that this does not COVER my ears, so I can still hear what's going on around me while I'm out for a run - this is a huge safety feature for me! Approaching cars, bicyclists, and other runners can all be heard while I'm also enjoying my music or a podcast.
The device charges quickly and pairs easily to my phone via Bluetooth. The instructions indicate you can have this paired to two devices at once, so if I need to go back and forth between phone and laptop, for instance, I won't have to UN-pair the headphones from the first device in order to pair it with the second.
Overall great quality, I would expect these to be priced closer to $100
I like these headsets; the green and gray colour really stand out against a sea of white and black. Being open ear, you can hear everything around you even with the music playing, so it's good for paying attention to your surroundings, but it also means the sound is better for background, instead of things to focus on, like phone calls. Volume is good, as I typically didn't have to go above 50% on my phone to be able to hear everything.
They're waterproof, and continue playing in rain or shower, although I wouldn't bring them into a pool. They have 32GB of built-in storage and you can copy music directly to them, to play without being paired - this is great to disconnect or use around the house, without needing a phone (but let's face it, most people always have their phone with them anyway). Only issue with this was it took a LONG time to copy files over, getting speeds of barely 200KB/sec, which means 20-30 seconds per average MP3 file. This could take hours to fill the 32GB of storage.
My only concern is the USB charging cable; it's a proprietary connector, not standard USB-C, so if the cable goes missing, you're out of luck, and I haven't seen replacements for sale. Aside from that, it's a great headset for many uses.
